The 171.16 beta of NVIDIA's ForceWare driver for Windows Vista 32-bit has been leaked onto the internet, but as this isn't an official release there is little information about any changes - Expreview has run a few tests and found the average increase in performance to be 2.05% on an 8800 GT. The driver, which supports just about all GeForce 6, 7 and 8 series cards, can be downloaded here (Vista 32-bit only).

hey, 6 months ago i bought and 8800gts 320 Mb and my driver version is 162.18. All my games run fine and fast and i dont have any problems. Should i update? What version is the best for me? I cant find any comparison between drivers like the one is made in tweaktown but that is only for Ati drivers.

it's about time nvidia started optimizing their drivers. the 8800 series has a long way to go before it's running at it's full potential.

did you know that a Q6850 running stock can not feed 2 8800gtx (plain jane vanilla) cards in SLI enough data to provide even a 60% load on them?
