To view this case mod, go here.

Specs:
Western Digital 160 GB Hard Drive, XP, 2 GB Kingston Ram, DVD Burner, PC Chips a13g Mother Board, AMD Athlon 64 2.4GHz 45W, Artic Fan which blows towards the processor, Birch Wood, Redwood, and Glue.

This is my first attempt at building my own case from scratch. I learned a bunch and can’t wait to start my next case project. I know I have a serious wire management issue but part of the problem was working with a very small piece of Plexiglas. The plexi is only 13x11x5.5. That made this a very challenging first project.

Personally i think that if i wer ebuilding my own case it would be pretty hard, but the cable management should be one of the easiest things because u can drill holes on teh "wooden" motherboard tray etc. I like the fact thatct you built it from scratch but think that you could have done a beter job aswell 7/10 from and keep up the modding, Good first try

it is a good first try, i also like how you made everything from scratch, but some thing about the front panel just doesn't look right to me, the wood doesn't look like the same length from the side, doesn't look really symmetrical (can't think of a better word at the moment), you did do a nice job with managing cables, it could be better( i didn't like the black tubes) what kind of temps you get in there?
ill also give it 7/10

The temps stay between 39-43C. I know what you mean about it not looking symmetrical. It actually is but the two small pieces of wood over the DVD kind of throw it off. And for some reason it looks like it is leaning in the photo. Probably my photography. You should have seen how ugly it was before I added wood to the front.
