Creative today announced Vado Pocket Video Cam, a $99 pocket video camera aimed at the YouTube crowd. Small enough to fit easily in a pocket, purse or the palm of a hand, the Vado Pocket Video Cam is said to deliver "a breakthrough in video camera design." Available in silver or hot pink, it weights less than 90g and comes with a 2-inch color LCD screen, 640-by-480 VGA video resolution, 2x digital zoom, and 2GB of onboard memory, enough to record up to two hours of VGA video (640x480 MPEG-4 or AVI at 30fps). The Vado also has its own built-in software which enables users to copy the video to the PC or easily upload it to YouTube or Photobucket. Priced at $100, the Creative Vado Pocket Video Cam is available now.
