Inno3D recently unveiled it's first card based on the new 55nm G92 based core from NVIDIA. The announcement of Inno3D GeForce 9800 GTX+ comes earlier than the scheduled mid-July launch date, but benchmarks of the plus cards are already starting to appear everywhere, so it's not a big deal. The card features the usual specs: 512MB of GDDR3 memory, 256-bit memory bus, and 738MHz/2200MHz core/memory clock speeds respectively. Charts on the Inno3D web page suggest that the 9800 GTX+ is up to 15% faster than the regular GeForce 9800 GTX.

Wow, Inno3d is one of the largest distributors here in our country along side with Palit, asus and sapphire! Hope the 9800GTX+ of Inno perform well, I'll be eyeing one of those cards soon..

I really like Inno3D as my siggie might show! The card I have is my first from them and they must use some of the best quality GPU's because this one of mine overclocks like a monster and was really cheap.

i gotta vouch for inno3d also, had a couple of their cards and never had any problem and they do sell the cheapest ones usually :toast:

id still rather go for a 4850 for my next card though

yeah i have a stock innod 9800GTX that runs 800/2000/2500 24/7, what more could you ask for.

hopefully the GTX+ will hit 825-900mhz core and 2100-2400mhz shader

Nice to see the memory clocks are still 1100MHz, I thought the 9800GTX+ was supposed to go down to 1000MHz, hopefully that was wrong.

Isn't ATI screwed since a 200 dollar card beats their 4870?

I dont think this card will be on par with the 4870, thats the GTX260s job, this is to fill the gap between the 9800GTX/4850 and the GTX260/4870.

It should be a nice card, but not worth upgrading if you have a 8800GT or better IMO.

The only thing i real feel might give me better FPS would be SLI GTX260s, but for $800.00 i think ill hold off, i realy feel come September/October they will come out with a 55nm part that will be $100.00 cheaper and run cooler and have sick OCing.

Actually, yes we are. In fact the 55nm G92b was originally reported to be going in the 9800GX2, but it seems nVidia decided to put it to use in the 9800GTX first. I wouldn't be surprise if we start to see more of the G92 cards switching over to the G92b, it is just a drop in replacement for the original G92, so it shouldn't be a huge switch.

Using vista doesn't count and I didn't see any benchmarks otherwise that showed the 4850 being faster.

Yeah.. ++1 for Inno. Releasing a no frills card (but still has the ability to change your deffective card anytime for a limited warranty time of course). But hell.. its not like youd be having that same VC for the rest of your life (life time warranty. meh.)

I bought my Inno 8800GT for 260 US dollars back in nov 07.. back then BFG and eVgas where 450 bucks. And up to now, theyr running fine on 650/950 for my daily usage.
