Thermaltake uploaded today a video on YouTube showcasing its upcoming BigTyp14 Pro CPU cooler, which is due out next month. The cooler, successor to the popular BigTyp 120VX, features six copper heatpipes and 69 aluminium fins on each side as cooling surface. There's also a top mounted VR controlled blue LED 140mm fan with a low noise output of 16dBA. BigTyp14 Pro uses a universal clip that supports most of current sockets. Thermaltake expects the BigTyp14 Pro to arrive sometime next month, but pricing is yet to be confirmed. Take a look at the teaser clip here.

Definitely a very nice design. But these big boys(Thermalright as well) nead to start getting with the times. Xigmatek and OCZ are matching and surpassing the cooling performance of the Gigantasaurus Rex sized coolers from the other major brands with smaller designs due to the use of HDT. Just imagine what something like this or the TRUE-120 could do if they were designed with exposed heatpipes from the start?!?!

I like that, I wish more companies would do UTube videos like that. It gives a much better perspective of design and size.
Oh, nice looking cooler too : ) Just a little big for my taste.

I had the original Big Typhoon and that biach was quiet and cooled like mad. Its in my sisters computer which is running an MSI K8N Neo Platinum2 with an Athlon 64 3800+ and 1 GB ddr 400 Kingston Value ram. All on an Apevia Aspire 500W psu. Cools nice and quiet and is awesome. ID get one of these if it cooled better than Xigmateks s1283. Time for everyone to go exposed pipes.

Nice cooler, but I prefer the Thermalright coolers instead. I wonder how this will do with the 1366 socket processors???
