I NEED THIS! LOL!

Right now I've got the cord under my second monitor's base, so the monitor is slightly angled. If I take it out, the cord slides down the back of my desk and the mouse is annoying as hell to deal with.

Get some play-doh, wrap it around your cable, save 50$.

Amazing!~:toast:

I never really liked cord holders that require the cord to be wrapped around them as I find that the cord dies over time if kept like that. I would prefer something like the mouse bungee they have on their site

What's the new thing about this cordholder?
Both
http://www.razerzone.com/p-88-razer-armadillo-mouse-cable-management-system.aspx
and
http://www.steelseries.com/int/products/accessories/cordholder/information
Have already been out for a long time (I had have the Steelseries one for 6 months)
That said everyone serious enough to get a gaming mouse, should also find the money to spend on a cordholder,
after having had it for more then a week i wouldn't part with it :)
The level of mouse freedom it gives is incredible!

its anoying when the cord gets trapped on something an you miss a shot at a vital time, then death happens,
another home made one is insulating/electrical tape:) you can even get different colours to match your case/scheme.

Why not just get a wireless mouse? An innovation in the making since Nickola Tesla.

Not to mention short lived battery life between recharging, and it still leaves a cable for the charger. I like this idea and have wondered before why something like this was not around.

Cords on mice? What are we, in the 80s?

Wireless = More latency = More deaths less kills
Wire + USB @ 1000 Hz = 1 ms response time = No lag

That isn't true, the RF signal travels just as fast through the air as the signal does through copper wires(roughly the speed of light).

Not to mention short lived battery life between recharging, and it still leaves a cable for the charger.

My G7 battery lasts about 24 Hours between charges. At the two day LAN event that I recently attended, I only had to swap batteries twice, and that was with almost constant gaming.

Believe it if you wish...

Well I believe it, but I don't think it should be considered an issue for people who don't play professionally.
But gamer mice aka mice with high tech sensors, are only made with wires, therefore the cordholders are necessary.

@ Newtekie1, The G7 is the only wireless "Gamer" mouse ever made and in my top 5 of best mice ever,
the only thing it lacks is a second side button , which is rather important:shadedshu (Why logitech, why?)
(+ maybe a VX Nano sized wireless adaptor :rockout:)

I can agree about the missing second side button, but I got used to it pretty quickly, and the left and right side scroll make up for it.
