Alexey Nicolaychuk, popularly known by the computer enthusiast community as "Unwinder", creator of RivaTuner graphics card tweaking utility, lodged a strong protest against community members of NvNews for allegedly using slurs against his national identity. Community members of NvNews will not be able to post links to download RivaTuner as they are explicitly blocked by the author. Not that they can't get the software some way or another, but that it is more of a retaliation by Unwinder to contents of this thread, which portrays mockery against Russia and the recent Russian-Georgian conflict. The most recent license-agreement of RivaTuner now shows an added clause:
While the forum thread that had those slurs was closed rather quickly by the forum staff at the post count of 6, ironically, the same staff didn't find it necessary to delete those comments or the thread as a whole, or the thread that followed Unwinder's actions on NvNews forums that had posts of retaliatory nature with extreme personal attacks towards Unwinder. It made 198 replies without moderation of any sort. At least it didn't seem like the forum staff was doing its job, but since it claims to be a "fansite", they may have variable thresholds to trigger moderation. Some members even protested that Unwinder was making "Anti Free Speach [sic] remarks". Truly, the Internet is serious business.

New license agreement explicitly restricts publishing any links to RivaTuner on http://www.nvnews.net homepage or in http://www.nvnews.net discussion forums. Russian software can not co-exist with the community tolerating anti-Russian nazism.
