That is the "Big Boy" that they run through Cheyenne Wyoming every year during Frontier Days.
It's a amazing steam engine!!!! You can hear the whistle all over town when they start running it.
I've went down to the depot several years and checked it out.

You've actually seen it! Very cool! I know that by today's standards it's not high tech, but it is still a masterful example of engineering.

Yep, I've seen it. Trust me, it's frigging huge!!!! Probably about the size of 2 of the diesel electric engines of today.
