i bought cheaply 1070 that was used in sli config. the guy marked it in not working condition (no videou output) but in sli it worked while he was benchmarking it.
So i saw videos on youtube how you can use amd apu to passthru video out but use gpu power to render the game.
i put everything in the case, switched in bios primary gpu integrated. firstly i had some errors 43 but sometimes when i reset the computer or when i disable and enable the driver in device menager it disapears.
when i download gpu-z to see if it is working properly it says memory 0 gpu clock 0 and bios unknown. When i click look up it brings me up manli 1070 but my card is asus turbo.
i try to nvflash it but when i do protectoff EEPROM not found.
I also have a choice to switch it with 1060 that is working and to give 100$.
can someone suggest what should i do

I'm no expert in flashing so hopefully someone will chime in and assist.
If it is in fact an Asus dual turbo the Vbios is definitely incorrect and will need to be changed.
If it was bought really cheap it may be a good option to pay $100 more and get the known working 1060.

Looks like a bad bios, can you take pics of the card itself front and back?

There's an expert here named Eidairman if you post those pics he can probably sort you out.

Try flashing the BIOS, in Command Prompt (Run as Administrator).
nvFlash v5.xx Commands...
"nvflash -5 -6 newbios.rom" (Normal BIOS Flashing)
"nvflash -4 -5 -6 newbios.rom" (Forced BIOS Flashing)
There are 3 BIOSes in Techpowerup database for ASUS Turbo GTX 1070, 1st one is the oldest, 3rd the newest:
1st, 2nd, 3rd.

It would appear that an even older BIOS was originally on the card (160546), but you can try 1st and 2nd that I posted, should work.

no it dont want to flash. so i dk did i mentine that i am using my igpu to display and in bios i switched to be my primary integrated gpu
so when i get in nvflash and i do --list it says <0> GeForce GTX 1070 (10DE,1B81,0000,0000) S:00,B:01,D:00,F:00
then i do --protectoff it says Adapter not accessible or supported EEPROM not found, skipping ERROR: Supported EEPROM not found.
when i do -4 -5 -6 it says Command format not recognized
when i do -6 it says Checking for matches between display adapter(s) and image(s)...
Adapter not accessible or supported EEPROM not found, skipping
NOTE: Exception caught.
Results:
Index | Match | Flash | Name
<00> GeForce GTX 1070 (10DE,1B81,0000,0000) S:00, B:01
Nothing changed!
ERROR: Detecting GPU failed.
is it maybe because i use my igpu to display and i disable it in bios somehow or?

You might have to short the Bios chip:
