I just bought a 1080ti off of ebay and was having issues where it would boot into windows but have a black screen.
I decided to let it boot up and open gpuz and take a screenshot with it running the new gpu and this is what I get.

I used nvflash to flash a new bios onto it hoping that would fix it but alas it's still black screening. Is my vram just dead?
It was listed as fully tested and working and shipped in original box with no damage so I would be quite suprised if it managed to off itself on the way here.

Either the bios has been tampered with or the card is dead - message the seller about it and if they dont respond. File a dispute with ebay for a refund if it wasnt mentioned in the listing that the card was defective.

DONT MESS WITH THE CARD. TAKE IT OUT AND PUT IT BACK IN THE BOX AND WAIT FOR THE SELLER OR EBAYS RESPONSE BEFORE DOING ANYTHING WITH IT

Because the seller can turn around and say that you broke it or trying to reverse scam them by buying a working card off them and sending back your faulty one. This happens quite a lot on ebay.

Ebay could side with you. Refund you and you might get to keep the GPu if the seller doesnt want it back.

Either wrong bios put on the card or the ram controller in the gpu die is dead dead.

There are better cards out now that can be bought brand new in box with a warranty.

Get a picture of the white stickers on the back and a pic of the heatsink and fan.
