Seems like a firm by the name of TabletKiosk is the first out of the trenches with their UMPC called eo. The device has a price tag of $899 US Dollars if you get the bare minimum, or over $2000 if you want all the bells and whistles. It should be noted that an upgrade to a 100GB 7200RPM HDD adds $500 US Dollars to the price, while the upgrade from 256MB to 1GB hits your wallet with $265 US Dollars. So you might want to crack the unit open yourself to put in more memory or a bigger hard drive. The base unit comes with a 7" TFT-LCD Touch Screen, VIA C7M NaNo 1.0 GHz, 30GB, 256MB, build-in 802.11 b/g and Bluetooth. It weighs 1.98 pounds and should give your 2.5 hours of battery life.
