12400f and Patriot 2x8 gb 3600 cl17 max possible OC

Those sticks are rated at 3600 cl 17. Im running them now at 1730 16 18 18 38 56 in gear one so basically no oc as i lowered timings/speed ratio to match cpu. Im wondering if i could push them to cl15. I tried to set them up at cl15 16 16 50 with no luck - system did not even boot up...
Anyone have any ideas?

Probably won't have a good experience with the ram on that motherboard.

Go for CL 18 and click the frequency up a notch and see if she goes.

It looks like they are Hynix CJR so they dont like tight timings. Maybe you can try 16-19-19-35-54-1T at 3600Mhz with 1.35-1.38v DRAM. If that works you can try 3666 and 3733 as well.

cpu wont let me go higher than 3467 mhz. Mind you...i dont want to oc frequency only timings.

Edited my above post. GDM is for AMD. Not sure why I was thinking AtiAmd...

System Agent is locked. So you probably won't get much from it. Timings or speed.

So lower to 3200/1600mhz, maybe can get CL14 from it...

Thanks mate. I rised voltage to 1.4 and i got 3200 cl 14...
I feel like the real samsung b die champ

For increased performance, increase tREFI if available in bios.
