Today, TechPowerUp released version 1.28 of Radeon BIOS Editor (RBE), our popular ATI/AMD Radeon BIOS file manipulation utility. This release packs some big features, notably, an easy Radeon HD 6950 to HD 6970 shader unlock mod that works on reference design graphics cards, next to numerous updates that include addition of Radeon HD 6990 deviceID, a fix to bug that reported an error message regarding VendorID writing occasionally, and ATI Overdrive-related bug.
