Seems like there are some mainboards for the XBox 360 floating around with a very special addition - a HDMI port. Rumour has it that a future revision of the XBox 360 will come with this connector, possibly just the premium version. Having a HDMI connector only makes sense when the device has a HD-DVD or Blu Ray drive. Could it be that there is an XBox 360 with an internal HD-DVD drive on the way after all?

Do you really need a 10' cable? Just put your Xbox a little close to the TV!

It wouldn't suprise me if they did add an internal HD-DVD drive.

I guess this will probably piss off all the people that have already bought one. I guess that is what happens when you release a console before you are able to incorporate everything that should be in it.

True, but the PS2 slim didn't add anything special to the console that gamers wanted/needed other then a size reduction.

True, but the Slimmer size of the PS2 wasn't something that could have been included from the beginning like the features they are adding to the Xbox360. And it certainly wasn't something that was required to keep playing the games like the HD-DVD player, which I would be concerned about if I owned an original Xbox360 since it is rumored that once it is released the majority of the games will require you to have it. With rumors putting costs of buying the external HD-DVD player being around $100 I would be kind of mad if I bought an Xbox360 already and the rumors turn out to be true.

Though they are just rumors, so only time will tell.

It depends though what kind of HDMI cable you get. You can get cheap ones that have the same video quality like component video or DVI for a really low price. But if you're like me, I got a Monster HDMI Cable 2m(6.56Ft.) for $250, yeah, $250. I think it was really worth it though.

Yeah, I got a 50" Samsung DLP HDTV 1080P, Sony DVD HD-Upconversion, Polk Audio 7.1 Surround Sound System w/ Yamaha 7.1 THX reciever, along with a Klipsch THX 12" sub. Also 2 of those HDMI cables I listed earlier, one for my DVR Cable Digital Reciever, and one for out HD-Upconversion DVD Player. I want one of those HD-DVD and Blu-Ray Disc Players, but I don't know what's better, HD-DVD or Blu-Ray.

And ^that's just our living room, you should check out my room, parents room and patio too! All with surround sound from Bose, Klipsch, and Polk Audio.

:D i think u should get bose speakers instead of the polk audio, they are proven to be better, also, my dad works at bose so we get free speakers! next year he will beta test the new bose reciever and 7.1 speaker system... the reciever has blu ray built in and has 1080p... once i get my 70" plasma im good to go...

I have Creative speakers on my PC. They're ok but not great, but then again I did only spend about £70 on them so they're good value for money.

Ah man. I would love to have some of those headphones at college. The dorms get pretty crazy at night sometimes and it gets hard to go to sleep.
Wait, what were we talking about again? Was it something to do with the xbox? Oh yeah... blasted ADHD.
