Introducing the MCP355 Extreme Performance 12 Volts/18 Watts pump. This version of the award winning MCP350 features significantly increased head and flow characteristics at higher audible noise levels. This pump is not for everyone -in particular silence lovers, but it is ideal for extreme performance especially with its size of only 2.4" square. The MCP355 features 20ft of head to provide superior flow rates and is also very reliable pump, featuring a 50,000 hour MTBF (5 year lifetime). The pump is completely plug-and-play, and connects directly to any computer power-supply through standard 4 pin power connectors. An additional 3 pin motherboard fan connector which reports impeller rotational speed(RPM) is also presented. It's compact and powerful motor make it ideally suited for extreme duty cooling in environments where space is at a premium. The MCP355/18W water pump is now available in Swiftech store for $79.95.

Its worth noting that Swiftech's comments viz. the noise level of the Laing Delphi DDC-2 - aka 18W DDC, DDC-1+, DDC-Ultra - can be safely ignored in all applications where the pump is properly decoupled from the case.

In these situations, the pump is considerably quieter than the D5/MPC655 and the 50Z.

20FT of head is just unreal! That is quite the impressive little pump. Makes me want to get a smaller case so I can retire my old faithful Eheim 1250.

Not only that, but with a Radiical or Alphacool top (using top inlet) it gets something like 4GPM flow, and all with about 10-12W of heat dump - Delphis dump ~60% of power drawn into water as heat, and the "18W" actually draws ~21.5w.

It effectively beats or equals every pump up to Iwaki MD-20s as far as performance goes, when coupled with a 3rd-party top.

The only single pump with more head/flow that doesent dump prohibitive amounts of heat is the Iwaki RD-30 and that will set you back $300USD before the 24V PSU or Converter...
