Adaptec will demonstrate data center bandwidth and latency optimization with the new 6 Gb/s Series 6 products at CeBIT 2012. Visit the Storage Pavilion, Hall 2, Stand E51 to learn more about:
- Live technology demo showcasing 6600 MB/s sustained data transfer rate with a high port count 6 Gb/s SATA/SAS RAID Adapter, based on PMC's 24-port SRCv RAID-on-Chip (RoC), with a PCIe 3.0 interface. A RAID adapter based on PMC's RoC can support up to 2x the bandwidth of a previous generation RoC solution, with 2x the bandwidth on the PCIe interface and 3x the bandwidth on the SAS interfaces.
- Tuning your data center environment to fully optimize performance, price and sustainability.
- Advanced features added to Adaptec I/O technologies in 2011, including the Series 6Q and 6T for data center applications that require maximum performance, reduced total cost of ownership, scalability and reliability.
- Same driver DVD and tool set for all Series 2/5/5Z/5Q/6/6E/6T/6Q, which includes proactive event notification for VMWare 5.x.
- Live demo of an Adaptec 6805Q controller showing how maxCache 2.0 SSD Read & Write back caching can increase I/O performance, optimize cost and power consumption and reduce latency in datacenters. Various configurations of different tiers of spinning media @ 7.2K, 10K and 15k rpm are combined with enterprise class SSDs for caching.
