Japan-based Y-E Data Inc. is the first company to announce a commercial application for ultrawideband technology. The hub itself features four USB ports, and is connected wirelessly to your computer using ultrawideband technology. Assuming that there are no obstacles between your computer and the hub, the device has a bandwidth of 100Mb/s at 10 meters. The wireless output level is lower than -41.3 dBm, and the device uses a frequency channel from 4.224 to 4.752 GHz. The device is scheduled to be released in Japan on October Twenty-first for 25,000 to 40,000 Yen ($210-340).
