OCZ's Agility 4 is positioned as a high-end, mid-range drive based on Indilinx Everest 2 controller technology. Our real-life performance testing will investigate whether this drive is a worthy opponent of the SandForce drives available on the market now.

However, all things considered, personally, I would buy the OCZ Vertex 3, which comes at the same $190 price, but trades 16 GB of capacity (6.25%) for 14% more performance - certainly worth it.
Agreed. The SandForce controller is a mature product. At this point we don't have enough time to see how well the new Everest controllers are holding up long term.

Are some tests flawed?! Avast for one... shows l;ike 20 seconds to do its scan... Well why when doing the same scan here and even scanning more Gb's bringing me a much much faster scan speed? 6 sec for scan #1 and 2 seconds every run after that.. What am I missing out on?

our test scans all files and doesn't use hashes to skip already scanned files, in c:\windows\system32
