Yeah, an SSD would turn this into a blazing-fast 720p gaming box, but it's pretty powerful already. I really like that they included mSATA port so you can grab one of many accelerator mSATA SSDs, plug it in, and you're good to go.

I dont think it needs a SSD - and besides the HDD is an Seagate Momentus 750 GB labeled "Samsung", not build by Samsung.

A Seagate Momentus XT 750 GB (Hybrid, 16 GB NAND, 7.200 rpm) would have been a better choice, IMO, balance between speed and capacity ...

If this is a glimpse of the future where Intel ships everything in a mATX or smaller form factor for mid-range and budget buyers with the CPU soldered in, then I'm pretty happy with the way things could turn out.
