ELSA announced a pair of new SAC (silent air-cooling) series graphics cards based on the GeForce GTX 660 and GTX 650. Likely originally made by Inno3D, ELSA's graphics cards feature an easily removable cooler shroud that lets you clean the fan assembly and the heatsink. The GTX 660 SAC uses a dual- 75 mm fan cooler that can keep the card running at 25 dBA, and up to 8°C lower than NVIDIA-reference cooler. It is clocked at 980 MHz core, 1033 MHz GPU Boost, and 6.00 GHz memory. It packs 2 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 192-bit wide memory interface.
ELSA's GeForce GTX 650 SAC, on the other hand, features a more compact PCB, with a single 85 mm fan that keeps the card running with a noise output of 24 dBA, and below 60°C. Its core is clocked at 1085 MHz, and memory at 5.00 GHz. It packs 1 GB of GDDR5 memory across a 128-bit wide memory interface. Both cards include ELSA's GPU Optimizer software that lets you tweak clock and fan speeds. Slated for market release on October 25, the ELSA GTX 660 SAC is expected to be priced at 25,800 JPY (US $328); the ELSA GTX 650 SAC, on the other hand, is slated for October 18, and is priced at 12,800 JPY (US $163).
