Axiomtek announces MANO831, its first Mini ITX motherboard designed to supports the newest Intel Atom dual core processor D2550 1.86 GHz with the Intel NM10 Express chipset. The MANO831 is a great choice for customers who need a typical embedded solution delivering high efficiency with better cost. Two DDR3 SO-DIMM slots on board implement up to 4 GB of system memory.

The industrial-grade mini ITX motherboard is integrated Intel Graphics Media Accelerator 3650 engine featuring DX9 and OGL 3.0 to support HD-rich content and provide DVI-D, VGA, and LVDS with dual-view supported. Considering to the various demands, it comes with both PCI slot and PCI Express Mini Card slot. This typical embedded motherboard is a good choice for medical healthcare, in-vehicle infotainment, mobile kiosk, mobile gaming, digital entertainment, digital signage, portable POS and much more.



"The compact MANO831 offers improved processing and graphics performance and is designed to operate at a very low-power consumption. It comes with multiple display outputs: DVI-D, LVDS and VGA and has a wide range for storage, I/O and expansion connectivity. This high performance Mini ITX motherboard can save time, improve space utilization and reduce costs for system integrators," said David Chiu, PM of Product Planning Division at Axiomtek.

The outstanding MANO831 comes with complete I/O options, including four COM ports (2 x RS-232, 2 x RS-232/422/485), seven USB 2.0 ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, DVI-D, LVDS, VGA, HD audio, two SATA-300 interfaces, Digital I/O, PCI, and PCI Express Mini Card. Moreover, TPM 1.2 is also integrated into this embedded board for applications looking for more security protection. To ensure reliable operation, the MANO831 supports watchdog timer, hardware monitoring and SMART FAN features. This compact motherboard also meets all requirements for the Windows 7 OS.

Axiomtek MANO831 will be available around the beginning of March, 2013.

edit: there was a heatsink, but it was removed, jusding from the smudged paste on the chip.
