Enermax is well-known for their PSU products, and they have, over all these years, maintained a successful presence in this market segment, although the competition is fierce. We will now take a look at their new Revolution X't PSU with 630 W capacity. It is 80 Plus Gold compliant and features a semi-modular cabling design.

Enermax informed me that while the manual mentions three years warranty in fact it is five.

"ENERMAX retail desktop power warranty for 80+ Silver / Gold / Platinum is 5 years, effective from 2010, and can be back date to shipment from 2008. For non 80+, 80+ standard, 80+ Bronze is 3 years."

Kind of a mediocre effort from a company that is or at least used to be regarded as a trendsetter in the PSU world. I guess things never stay the same always, which can also be said of other brands today.

How's it with the warranty? I too have seen 5 but all e-shops here only have 3 (or even 2).
