Gigabyte's entry-level BRIX desktop which leverages Intel Celeron "Bay Trail" SoC, the GB-BXBT-2807, was taken apart, revealing its fan-less innards, and the absolute lack of any moving parts. Gigabyte is using a chunky aluminium heatsink to cool the Celeron N2807 SoC, with a rated TDP of just 4.3W. The chip embeds a dual-core x86-64 CPU clocked at 1.57 GHz, with Turbo Boost speeds of up to 2.17 GHz, full HD graphics, and a single-channel DDR3L IMC. The GB-BXBT-2807 offers one DDR3L SO-DIMM slot, supporting DIMMs of up to 8 GB in density, a half-size mPCIe slot for wireless NICs, a 2.5-inch drive bay with SATA 3 Gb/s connection, one USB 3.0, two USB 2.0, stereo HD audio, D-Sub and HDMI display outputs, and gigabit Ethernet. The unit measures 56 mm x 107 mm x 114 mm (HxDxW), and features VESA mounts.
