With the rise of intelligent systems and IoT demands, today's devices are generating volumes of data, with greater performance, connectivity and smart manageability. Advantech proudly announces two industrial-grade solutions: MIO-5271-3.5" MI/O Extension Single Board Computer, and the ultra slim Embedded Box PC-ARK-1550. Both are fanless designs which employ 4th generation Intel Core i5-4300U 1.9GHz (could support turbo boost up to 2.9GHz) / Intel Celeron 2980U 1.6GHz processors, with smarter/faster CPU performance, rich media support, up to 3 independent displays, plus improved security. Benefits include longer MTBF, dust-free, noiseless, zero fan maintenance, 24/7 reliability and long life cycle till Y2020 - making them perfectly suitable for IoT, intelligent systems and embedded markets which require total reliability and performance.
MIO-5271 3.5" MI/O Extension SBC comes in a (146 x 102 mm) form factor of only 24mm in height as well as fanless operation. Besides rich I/O functions, MIO-5271 was designed with high ESD protection and 100% solid capacitors, and can operate between 0~60 °C temperatures. MIO-5271 incorporates the MIOe unified connector which extends additional interfaces: DisplayPort, PCIe x1, LPC, SMBus, USB 2.0/ 3.0, audio line-out, and power, to simplify development.
ARK-1550 is a panel mountable fanless slim embedded Box PC (223 x 46.6 x 133.0 mm). ARK-1550 supports -20~55 °C wide temperature operation, carries complete certifications (CE/ FCC/ UL/ CCC/ CB/ BSMI) and rich I/O. Its lockable I/O design supports a hot-swappable 2.5" drive bay, and optional easy mounting brackets for VESA, DIN Rail and wallmount.
MIO-5271 and ARK-1550 support multiple communication interfaces such as dual GbE, mini PCIe slots, and SIM holder for 3G/4G LTE mobile modules. Advantech SUSIAccess provides a remote management API so users can monitor, configure and control a large number of terminals with centralized real-time maintenance. SUSIAccess also supports System Recovery (by Acronis), System Protection (by McAfee) and Remote KVM. With iManager technology - an intelligent, self-management, cross platform firmware monitors system status for problems and takes action if required.
