At Computex 2014 AORUS has officially announced two new gaming notebooks, the 13.3-inch X3 and 13.9-inch X3 Plus. The X3 has a native resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels while the X3 Plus will be available with a 2560 x 1440 or a 3200 x 1800-pixel panel, but apart from that, they are pretty much identical spec-wise.
Both of AORUS' upcoming laptops have a 22.9 mm-thick chassis, weigh just 1.87 kg and pack a 2.5 GHz Core i7-4710HQ processor, 8/16 GB of DDR3L memory, a GeForce GTX 870M 6 GB graphics card, dual 256/512 GB M.2 SSDs in RAID, Killer E2200 Gigabit LAN, 802.11ac WiFi, Bluetooth 4.0, two 1.5 W speakers, an HD webcam, two USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 ports, plus mini DisplayPort and HDMI 1.4a outputs. The X3 and X3 Plus will become available in Q3 starting at $2,099 and $2,299, respectively.
