DEEPCOOL, the leading manufacturer of desktop CPU cooler, DC case fan and Notebook cooler, officially released its first Micro ATX computer case with side window version of the Steam Punk Series - STEAM CASTLE.

Colorful Mod & Gaming Choice
The STEAM CASTLE Micro ATX case is designed as gaming case for hardware enthusiasts with the very impressive appearance, which is compatible to both Micro ATX and Mini ITX motherboards. Also to meet various requests of colorful motherboard themes, DEEPCOOL provides choices with fours colors as Black (the always classic one), White (Popular with APPLE), Red and Yellow. The case offers quite large space besides the Micro body, which is available for CPU cooling(air cooling up to 200 mm and liquid cooling up to 240 mm), two 2.5" SSDs, long graphic card up to 320 mm. In addition, to increase the amazing effect, 4 magic LED flash lights are pre-installed on the top.

Features
  • Unique post-modern steam-punk style appearance, very impressive
  • Side-window and top 4 turbo-type air out-taking holes, excellent for PC MOD and gaming
  • Horizontal structure, perfect for top-performance or big-size air cooler installation, ensures a great cooling performance while keeps no extra vertical pressure to the motherboard (compared with tower-type ATX case)
  • Large area of rubber painting (soft touch)
  • 4 magic color LED lights pre-installed on the top, amazing effect (color changing, brightness adjusting and breathing, fan speed adjusting)
  • 2 USB 3.0 +2 USB 2.0 Ports
  • 200 mm fan (front)+120 mm fan (rear) pre-installed
  • Compatible with Micro ATX and Mini-ITX motherboards
  • Support long VGA Card installation up to 320 mm length
  • Top panel supports max 240 mm water cooler installation
  • 2 grommets on the rear are ready for building external water-cooling system
  • Tool free installation design for 2.5"/3.5" SSD/HDD
  • Independent two 2.5" drive-bays support SSD RAID build-up
  • Two-layer horizontal structure, excellent for heat dissipation & compatibility

steam punk? the design sure why not. but the colors say nothing steam-punkish at all about it. maybe a little modding and we may have something interesting

Internal setup seems fairly standard, which is a good thing, but the outside just doesn't do it for me. Not much at all. Mostly the fans sticking out at funny angles. They look 80mm and non-standard, which likely means hard/expensive to replace.

I kinda like it. Maybe a bit too much plastic. would be nicer in all steel.

I'm sure it could be modded pretty nicely though.

I don't know why but just looking at this case is like eye candy to me. I mean my god its a very cool design to me, I would love to get my hands on one and attempt a beastly machine inside!!! It looks like it could hold so much potential in such a cool design!

One thing im curious of, the top says support for up to a 240mm radiator, but im curious if thats per side or what because im trying to figure that out. If it supports 2 240mm radiators at the top I maybe sold on this bad boy.

Shame they've decided to launch it with the 'gloss' finish, they had two models on display at computex, one of which had a rubberised 'matt' finish and had yet to decide which one to release.

..I think they've made the wrong choice :(

Yea i think the gloss finish is a mistake. The matte ones at computex looked better.

Overall I really like it.

I was also going to comment that this is the ugliest case I've seen in a while. :D

The outside... I don't know if I like it or not, lol.

But I do know that I don't like how the inside is laid out. At least from the photos displayed here.

Oh, I don't mind that part. Just think it could better utilize the space. Could be smaller while still offering everything it does now, or offer more at it's current size.
