ASUSTOR Inc., a leading innovator and provider of network storage solutions, has announced the release of its AiFoto mobile app. AiFoto is a photo app that interfaces with the Photo Gallery online photo album on ASUSTOR NAS devices to let users manage and view photos from the convenience of their mobile devices. AiFoto gives users the power to free up storage space on their mobile devices by backing up photos to their NAS while giving them the freedom to browse their photo collection while on the go.
AiFoto features a refined and elegant user interface while providing an intuitive user experience. It features a plethora of customizable configurations such as one-touch uploads of mobile device camera rolls, storage capacity limit notifications during downloads, and upload conditions. Users are able to configure the app to only upload during certain conditions such as while using WiFi, while on a specific WiFi network or when the battery is being charged helping them to avoid incurring additional data charges.
Additionally, helpful tips are provided to guide new users, allowing them to quickly learn about the app's various functions. After logging into AiFoto users will be able to create a new album, upload photos to existing albums in Photo Gallery or switch between viewing photos on their mobile device and Photo Gallery with just the swipe of a finger. Management functions such as moving, copying, deleting and photo rotation are also provided along with the ability to open an online album and take photos that will be automatically uploaded to the album, which provides easy organization of photos. Furthermore, each photo features viewable EXIF information and a space for user comments.
"Due to the explosive growth in mobile device usage and social media, more people than ever before heavily rely on their mobile devices to take and share photos," said Steve Huang, Product Manager at ASUSTOR. "In an effort to meet the demands of these users, ASUSTOR has launched the AiFoto app. From sharing photos online to backing up photos from their smartphones, users will be now able to centralize the storage of their photos while maintaining the flexibility to share them at any time with friends and family."
AiFoto for iOS is currently available for download from the Apple App Store. The Android version is estimated to be available by the end of July on Google Play.
