Japanese display maker Iiyama announced the ProLite E2483HS, an entry-level 24-inch LED-backlit LCD display, which offers flicker free brightness control (doesn't use PWM to control LED brightness), and a characteristic "blue light reduction" technology. With its proprietary ECO Mode, the display draws as little as 24W of power during normal operation. Based on a TN-film LCD panel, the ProLite E2483HS offers viewing angles of 80° H and 85° V. It offers full-HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) native resolution, with 5 ms (GTG) response time, 250 cd/m² maximum brightness, and 1000:1 static and dynamic mega-contrast ratios. Display inputs include one each of DVI, D-Sub, and HDMI. Its stand offers basic tilt adjustments.
