ELSA Announces Single-slot GeForce GTX 750 Ti Graphics Card

ELSA announced the GeForce GTX 750 Ti SP, a single slot, air-cooled graphics card based on NVIDIA's first "Maxwell" based GPU. Sticking to single-slot dimensions, the card is 18.4 cm long, featuring a full-length metal shroud covering a nickel-plated copper channel heatsink, which is ventilated by a 70 mm spinner. The card draws all its power from the PCI-Express 3.0 bus interface. Display outputs include two dual-link DVI, and one mini-HDMI. That's not all, it also comes with a tiny factory-overclock. The core runs at 1045 MHz (vs. 1020 MHz reference), and memory at 4.40 GHz (vs. 4.34 GHz reference). The card will release in the Japanese market first, on the 23rd of September

Would have been somewhat pointless even if SLI was supported. Three 750Ti cost 450$ and for that might as well buy a 780 and save yourself one slot and hassle with SLI. The only thing the 750Tis would have over that is power consumption and, maybe, noise.

Seen 750's going for little over $120 where i live and two with a decent overclock would be fun. The point of sli and xfire is to use low end cards combined to match or surpass high end. Given whats fun to me would be a hassle to others...the tweaking and pushing would be fun to me and fun doesnt have to be rational.

Lack of total VRAM wouldn't be ideal for high end gaming though.

lol, true. Not 30, but about 55 at load.

Although, HD 4850 had a pretty dense copper spike array in side.
Still, 55W vs 110W+

Will it be loud? most chances that it will, yes.

Was thinking the same.... but the 750's are verry low power and with that metal housing i'm thinking to help disperse heat that fan shouldn't spin up too much. This card ain't aimed for intense usage so that fan could ruin it

I just fact checked myself. W1zzards testing shows ~50watts average during gaming. I just know that in 750ti bios you can unlock the power from a stock 30w to 60w which is where I got my reasoning.

Hum, a single slot 750Ti it's alright..., but not all any stretch. Would hope to see more half-height, single slots, but oddly such form-factor even as 750 spec are far and in-between . For all its lower TDP, and micro/M-ATX being so fashionable, I can't reason why every big name AIB isn't all over Maxwell and producing more of such cards that where they can ask higher margins. Seems there's a couple of the more the boutique card names doing it, but why aren't more AIB taking full-advantage of such hypothetical merits Maxwell’s?

It's so cute! But they should've rather gone with 1x DVI + 1x full-size HDMI + 1x DisplayPort.

Just the fact that it's SLI is inherently the problem. At least for someone who takes gaming seriously as competition, stuttery garbage is the last thing I want.

Half height and Low profile is a hard combo to come by as you pointed yourself. I don't think it can be handled thermally. A bit back Palit gts450 , probably the only LP card with a blower type of cooling, had it's own sticker on it: carefull hot surface. They knew what's gonna happen.

There is a LP 750 Ti from KFA2 (Galaxy) with a 2-slot cooler though. There isn't much effort into LP cooling. Probably the market is too small. I guess you can fit a cheaper AIO with a bracket on it and would do wonders. The mounting holes are usually the same as on the bigger counterparts.

That's one of the reasons I get so annoyed when there's only one slot on LP cases. Even IF you use a single slot LP card, there's no room to breathe.

Too long for my Jonsbo U1 case (modded to fit a single slot GPU)... this is almost perfect... "almost"... I think I'll just have to proceed with a "transplant" project I guess (inspired by TH).
