I have recently upgraded from RTX 2080Ti to RTX 3090. Before I even upgrade, my 2080Ti was already taken by one of my relative. I built her a gaming / streaming PC 2 yrs ago.

At that time I just give her my old FuryX. Looks like that GPU is not satisfying its current owner any more. The minute I told her I will be upgrading my GPU, she offered to pay for my current 2080Ti.

Since she gave me a bit more money than what I was expecting, I decided to spice things up a bit. Instead of giving her the OG cooler on this EVGA 2080Ti XC, I decided to put an AIO on the 2080Ti.

Time for some pictures! And the kit I am using is Alphacool Eiswolf 2 AIO GPU for 2080Ti

And installed! It is amazing that Alphacool actually improved their design between @VSG review sample and actual production run. They included hardware for reusing original backplate! My EVGA metal backplate fits on the card perfectly!

Brought the GPU over to her house and ready for install

Goodbye Fury X! Now you are retired forever. Haven't decided what I wanna do with it yet.

While I was at it, I upgraded her fans to Corsair ML140 RGB and QL140 RGB fans. Also upgraded her onboard WiFi adapter from Realtek AC to Intel AX. Plug and play upgrade and should serve her well during her twitch stream sessions.

And it is done. To be honest, cramming TWO AIOs, one 280 AIO and one 240 AIO into an ITX case is not a fun job. The cable management was insane, the AIO tubing routing was also insane. Also to supplement for the bad airflow of the case, I had to do push / pull on the front intake radiator where the Corsair H115i now sits.

Performance increase of course was insane (for her). That 1080P extreme score was even higher than the GPU when it was air cooled

During her MMORPG session with OBS on, the GPU was sitting at a happy 54C with GPU clock speed at a constant 2.01GHz. That is only 50% PWM fan speed on the fans! I am super impressed with Alphacool's Eiswolf 2 AIO. Amazing quality and amazing performance.

Noice :D
Although I have to make some observatory remark, 54C is kinda high for sustained 170W GPU load, that would make the AIO only ~10C cooler than the stock XC cooler. It does look nice nonetheless.

Oh that stock XC cooler was constantly going at 79~83C under full load. It was a XC, not XC Ultra with a beefy heatsink.

Also not sure how much I can trust that 170Watt reading, it was from Experimental Geforce Experience reporting.

Needless to say, Manta is a case with BAD airflow.
