Machine looks good and clean, but that price...Even if they are hand picked parts and overclocked to the extreme, that is way to much for this PC in my book for just an i7 6700K and GTX 980ti combo.

That rig isn't going anywhere with today's carry-on restrictions Parvum won't fit into any respectable "flight case" that I know of.

Did you really add a AIO in a system and try to compare it with a custom loop?
Also you went with US and not UK prices.
How many of those parts include full 5 year coverage, which they take care of everything wrong with system.
The price they ask, is not same as what you got there.

Well, the British Pound is right now $1.42 which means if we do the math it translates out to ~$5,665.78 base price. That only comes with 8gb of DRAM (High clocked ram though it maybe), two Samsung 850 Evo drives (Not Pros), and just an i7 6700K. Even factoring in the flight case, custom built case, water cooling components being custom built, warranty, and the other parts that still does not add up to that price. I believe his point was that the price is way off what it should be even though its custom and a limited edition.

For that price, I would expect top of the line parts on all fronts. Samsung Pro drives (M.2 on at least the OS drive and an 850 Pro for the SSD), a classified/OC/Hall of Fame/Whatever edition GPU, 16-32gb of high clocked ram, and a whole lot more. I won't deny its clean and your paying a bit more for supreme overclocking, warranty, and the custom built case/watercooling system, but that much more? I just went on newegg and frozen CPU, put together a parts list of choice cuts (Including Samsung m.2 950 Pro and 850 Pro drives) and came up with a $3000 build that would put that one to shame. I can understand charging for a warranty and overclocking along with custom case and special watercooling (Even those special tubes and such inside that one). Still though over $2000 more (almost $3000) and not complete premium parts???

i aint that envious cos my own machine would out perform it.. but i do understand why such a machine costs what it does..

why people feel the need to knock such things baffles me bit and smacks more of jealousy than anything else..

and the flight case aint meant to go on f-cking airplanes its just a nice box cart it all about in.. jeeesh.. he he

and anybody that cant tell the difference between a box parts you have to put together yourself and the talked about machines needs their brains testing..

Yes but the prices are more in UK , it roughly translates 1:1 to USD for the parts , so a 4000$ and pick items in pcpartpicker lets say .
But still for 4k this is extremely expensive .

First it was just a point out from what I thought the other guy was getting at (Pound to Dollar).

Second, I am not knocking it because its overpriced. Any of these premium built, limited edition, supreme overclockers with custom cooling are going to cost a lot because they have the notability and such to charge for it. The problem I was pointing out more than anything was the fact that for that price I am curious as to why they are not including all very premium parts. Why are the SSD's the Samsung EVO drives instead of the 950 Pro or even the 850 Pro drives, why only 8gb of ram (Even if they went for speed over capacity), and other gripes. If it was all premium parts, I would have just said meh its over priced. I am just wondering why some of these parts seem more standard on something they are pushing as not only limited edition, but custom cooled, supreme overclocked, and high performance. That is my point

Overclocks don't cost $800, in fact, as someone who has been paid by random people on the internet to teach them how to overclock their systems, I can tell you there are people out there willing to pay for overclocking advice, actually more than you might think, but they aren't prepared to dish out more than $500, if that.

if i did it i doubt i could even sell it for the cost of the parts never mind get anything back for my time and knowledge.. but there you go..

i recon its a "work of art".. such things are worth money.. how much depends on who is doing the buying..

You have a point and I get that but still that system isn't worth $6k. many other companies sell the same level of PC for less WAY less. And yes "work of art" is playing a HUGE factor, agree with you on that too.

I am sure many people will buy this, some people aren't into computers for "the build" like I am. I have never bought a pre-built PC

When taking into account VAT(adds 20% which is included in the near 4k price) and exchange rate, this system is about 1000 dollars overpriced.

Subtracting VAT and multiplying that by the usd to british pount, this system costs about 4700 dollars american.

The cost of the system that uses the same components or same spec components as the one listed is $2543.75.

This doesn't include the water cooling system however which adds close to1000 dollars to the price.

The motherboardblock, gpu block and CPU block cost about 350 when using performance pcs

The pump reservoir combo assuming they use EK is another 170, the radiator(60), fittings(120), tubing(20), fan controller(115), power supply sleaving(100), dyes, additives, cpu paste another 30 dollars.

= $965 for the water cooling setup. Water cooling is not cheap and people that are novices to it, think AIO are cheap, so dedicated can't be much more.

So combine both of these and we get about 3500 dollars.

Lets say 3 year extended warranty is another 200 dollars and hence the 1000 dollars over priced.

That no small chunk of change but considering the work involved, custom parts(the middle partition which seperates the radiator and motherboard is a giant waterblock), the flight case, and testing, it is not crazy bad.

Really ? Super flower is one of the best and its a manufacturer/brand , evga g2 series are based on super flower leadex gold and from other brands also.
