Silverstone has taken the RAVEN Z RVZ02 and toned it down a bit for the more traditional PC user. The result is a clean and slim chassis with mass-market appeal and that same great feature set gamers want. Add the handle and you are presented with the ability to build a compact, ultra portable, briefcase-like system that can deliver all the computing power - even for high-end scenarios.

One bit of note is that the PSU exhausts into a compartment at the bottom of the case with just a couple rows of open slots. This caused an issue for me, with a semi-passively cooled PSU (SX700-LPT) didn't have any air flow while at moderately low loads. I ended up getting random restarts because the fan wouldn't kick on soon enough. Users of the same PSU in other cases had similar issues though, so it's totally a case issue.

You're right, It is an issue with the SX700-LPT. But, it's one that is exacerbated by certain case layouts including this one (Also, the RVZ and FTZ cases) in certain configurations (drawing less than the wattage that makes the fan kick on by draw instead of temp). Since both are SilverStone, I'd just like to help others not make the mistake I did in thinking they were made to work together.

Side note: I did get on the phone with the engineering folks at SilverStone about this and it's being looked into, so maybe a revision of this PSU won't have the issue in the future.

Definitely sounds like it's the PSU's fault for not turning the fan on when the temperature hits a certain threshold. Glad to hear that Silverstone seems to be aware of the issue. Hopefully they can issue a recall of affected units or refund purchases and fix the issue for new units leaving the factory.

What about noise? I'm interesting in using a small case for my next build, but favor quiet over size, yet few reviews for small cases touch on the subject.

Since everything with a fan goes straight to the intakes on this case, the noise is driven exclusively by the components selected, and barely dampened by the case at all.

I'm running it with an AR06 on an i5-6600k, an ASUS Strix GTX1070 OC, and a Corsair SF600, and I hardly notice the fans unless I've been gaming for a while, and even then, it's perfectly tolerable.

Huzzah!
SilverStone's tech rep Tony Ou on HardForum says:

For current owners of SX700-LPT that are experiencing unexpected shut downs, we encourage you to contact the closest SilverStone office for information on how to exchange for an updated PSU via the link below:
SilverStone Technology Co., Ltd.

For owners that are not experiencing shut downs, you are still welcomed to exchange for the updated PSU if you wish. However, please keep in mind that the updated unit may start up its fan sooner or more frequently than what you have now depending on system and temperature conditions.
