AMD today released yet another version of their Software Crimson driver. The version, now updated to 16.11.3, highlights support for the imminent and highly awaited Dishonored 2. The fixed issues list is a bit shorter than last time: according to AMD, with this version, "Steam and Origin will no longer terminate when using AMD X-Connect Technology on unplug.

Barring that, no more new highlights or new features. This release also packs all of the previous 16.11 driver branch fixes and game support. As always, you can download the drivers from the links below.

Better than 3 or less per year...especially if they're actually fixing issues. It's funny because not long ago that's what folks were complaining about from AMD, driver releases weren't frequent enough, now it's too frequent..which I'd rather have. I think they're doing a better job managing drivers now than they were a couple years ago. My AMD GPU's are performing pretty damn well for their age. :D

I agree, I'd rather have frequent, even weekly updates, regardless of the hassle it causes, then have to wait 3-6 months between updates hoping they might fix an issue I was having. I hope this trend continues.

no such thing as too many drivers if each one adds something new & most people dont happen to own every single one of the games on their launch dates to even need the launch drivers over & over

it would only be too many if there were multiple branches with different sets of bugs
