I believe the x7-Z8750 would've been even better since it has HD Graphics 405 in it.

I'm not sure the more EU would show in a mini-PC scenario, while the x7 would make it significantly more expensive perhaps. The z8500 only has HD graphics indeed, but it has dual channel support which can help with IGP performance and it offers higher CPU clocks too. It's all about the price.
