X2 today announced the Harada gaming mouse. This right-oriented mouse is suitable for both claw- and palm-grips, and combines a rubberized plastic body, with a stainless steel base and polymer glide feet. The mouse features 7 programmable buttons with Omron switches for the main two buttons. The top surface features RGB multi-color LED lighting through lighting accents under the buttons, and the X2 logo.
Under the hood, the X2 Harada features an Avago 9800 optical sensor, with a resolution of up to 8,200 dpi, with steps of 7,400 dpi, 6,200 dpi, 4,800 dpi, 2,400 dpi, and 1,200 dpi. The sensor has a refresh-rate of 380 cm/s, 1 ms response time, and 30G acceleration. You can set the resolution and polling rate on-the-fly. The controller polls the USB interface at 1,000 Hz. An in-built 64 KB memory stores macros and lighting settings. The mouse is backed by a 2-year warranty, the company didn't reveal pricing.
