In Win, who recently announced a partnership with EKWB in some of its cases, showed of some PSUs that will hit retail availability this year. The cover the full spectrum of a given product line, with flagship (Classic), high-tier (Premium), mid-range and entry-level (FM and F1) PSUs. Having their very own production line ensures In Win can continuously test and improve their CPU designs without being dependent on other manufacturers.
The flagship models of In Win's Classic PSU line will be the C 1050 and C 1250, with 1050 W and 1250 W capacities, respectively. Efficiency is rated at 80 PLUS Platinum, with both units featuring a fully modular cable design. A double-ball bearing fan is used for cooling, with the warranty being set at a respectable seven years.
The Premium series consists of three 80 PLUS Gold efficiency models, with capacities of 650 W, 750 W and 850 W. A hypro-bearing fan handles the cooling section, and the In Win logo on the side features RGB lighting. These also feature fully modular cable design, and make use of Japanese electrolytic caps, which allow the warranty period to reach five years.
In the lower end of the spectrum, the Force (F1) and Force Modular (FM) lines include two 80 PLUS Bronze certified members each, with 500W and 600W capacities. The FM models are fully modular, whereas the F1 units have fixed cables. The fans are 120mm and use a ceramic (Ceradyna) bearing, which promises lower noise compared to double-ball and sleeve-type bearings but with increased lifetime. All FM and F1 units look to utilize DC-DC converters for the generation of the minor rails and are covered by all necessary protections. In Win also revealed that their entry-level F1 and FM PSUs are resilient to high temperatures, with continuous full-power delivery being supported at up to 50°C ambient temperatures - so their higher-tier models should only be better.
Availability for all series of PSUs (Classic, Premium, Force (F1) and Force (FM) is expected at Q1 2017, though In Win says that the Classic line could, ina worst case scenario, see the release slide towards early Q2.
