Biostar's Z270GT8 is more than just a full-size version of the Z270GT4 we looked at earlier. It includes everything the Z270GT4 board did, but adds in Intel Optane functionality and a few other things. The Biostar Z270GT8 is a big departure from past Biostar products and isn't your everyday entry-level board.

Just gonna say it - with products like these, Biostar will soon find itself among other companies that didn't do good against the 4 giants in mobos today.

I can totally see Biostar closing its doors soon.

IMO Biostar does not have the reputation or track record to charge over $300 for a Z270 chipset motherboard regardless of features.

I can see it being used for mining cryptocurrency, but not as a high end board.
Maybe if they improved the BIOS and memory timing ability amongst other things, it might be a contender.
Small typo in this sentence too: "Just don't except to be breaking any memory frequency records".
