OQO, the maker of the world's smallest x86 based computer, has announced an upgraded version of its miniature PC. The old specs featured a 1GHz CPU, 256MB of RAM and a 20GB hard drive, which have now been upgraded to include up to a 1.5GHz Via C7 processor, 1GB of RAM and a 60GB hard drive. This machine should now be fairly capable of running Windows Vista (possibly without Aero) and it already copes nicely with the full version of XP. It also features a new docking station and supports EVDO, so you can browse the web from almost any developed area. Prices start at $1499 for the 1.2GHz model with 512MB of RAM and a 30GB hard drive, going up to $1849 for the top model. All models feature WiFi and Bluetooth.
