The Cherry MX Board 6.0 has a thick aluminum top, a technology called "RealKey" for extremely fast response times, high quality Cherry MX switches with low profile keycaps, and controllable red backlighting. Add in dedicated media control buttons and this is definitely a keyboard you want to read more about.

That is pricey for a genuine Cherry keyboard. I'd take the mechanical Chinese knock-off any day. Plus, you can get a TKL model and different switches.

There will always be alternatives that are half the price, especially when on-sale. At what they're asking for I'd expect to have USB passthrough on it. And have the keyboard make me breakfast.

Been using the MX Board 6.0 for about two years now. My impressions are in line with everything VSG wrote. The rubber from the wrist rest started peeling off just a couple of days ago - nothing that a bit of glue couldn't fix. Also, I'd love to have an ability to force some keys (Windows, Caps Lock, Num) to be red all the time, instead of switching to blue to indicate their on/off state. Other than that, I love this keyboard and enjoy typing and gaming on it. I'm dishing out something in the lines of 1.5-2 million characters per year (well, that's a rough estimate) - the keys still feel like they did when I first got it. All of them.

I'm actually currently growing a bit bored of this keyboard, but having a hard time replacing it - almost none of them sport an equally impressive all-metal chassis and look nearly as nice. The only one that comes close (from the ones that I tried out, at least) is the Das Keyboard 4. No wrist rest on that one though, so that's an instant no-go for me.

WOW, again some nice keyboard presented on TPU.
This is pure gaming keyboard mixed with quality and durability.
If someone ask me mechanical keyboard mostly for gaming I would say Cherry MX Board 6.0.
Because gamers usually don't like Filco, WASD and similar 1st class keyboards, and this Cherry MX Board 6.0 is right choice for them.
Have backlight but it's not main purpose at all. With all RGB keyboards manufacturers spent more time to RGB look better and more lighthing options with better software than durability and quality of typing and impression of keyboard.
Aluminum should be used more for keyboards case.

You will like the keyboard I am currently working on a review for, then. Lots of thick aluminum here coupled with durable, high quality keycaps and backlighting too.

I would like to find adapter or kit or something to replace fixed with deatachable cable in my keyboard.
For that I probably need something like this only with Mini USB connection.

If that's possible. This is connection on my keyboard model.

And off course Aluminum TKL case I would like to exist for mine Francium PRO because
I can't check compatibility with Filco Aluminum case. Maybe is even compatible.
