The Cooler Master COSMOS C700P is, as the name implies, the new vision for the Cosmos line. It is the first all-new high-end chassis from Cooler Master in quite a while and also represents a huge step towards bringing the features and engineering behind the MasterConcept to the consumer.

For a such price... they should use PWM case fans including PWM based regulation board.

Not my cup of tea anyways design wise... but a giant leap for CM for sure.

  • Bring back the black cloth bag for the unboxing experience

Or is it the black cloth bag to put over your head to hide your shame when you build something completely hideous with specs only a mother could love?

"With all the parts installed, the case makes a bit of a messy impression without any of the covers"

That's because you were either lazy or just building it fast. It clearly shows you didn't try to make it look great. I mean, even without parts in it those shrouds look awful.

Most motherboards dont have dual USB 3.0 header with USB 3.1 header. So that front panel might not get use with 4x USB 3.0 ports with atleast a pair being connected to USB 2.0 header.

Saw this case on preorder today at newegg(even posted about it here), really impressive case and a proper successor to Cosmos line.

It's a very nice case, and I love the modularity, but at that price some of the obvious niggles (expansion slot screws, no PWM fans, no 3.5" behind the motherboard tray) really shouldn't have been there.

I love the look of the case I just can't justify buying a case that weighs right under 50lbs without components. Holy hell what was CM thinking?

A $20 USB 3 card would fix that issue.

...as a former cosmos 2 owner....I can really feel this. I like the windowed side but it just doesn't look premium to me. It looks like an Aerocool case......but thats just me....

With ~200eur price tag and acrylic panel instead of tampered glass this would be awesome.

For me the Cosmos was always the one who got away from me, now that I can afford them they look awful and are poorly designed in my opinion.

I always missed out on Cosmos (and 935 for that matter ) but now I think I will at least score one Cosmos. The Pros seriously outweigh the Cons. I also now have a Toddler so I am kind of happy that I missed out on Cosmos II since I water cool. That case would be relatively easy for my son to upset with a full loop installed. The rails on this Cosmos should keep the center of gravity in a reasonable location with a custom loop installed. Time to start saving. :rockout:
