The Rosewill Meteor XR is a good-looking chassis with an HDMI port at the front, making it an interesting choice for those with a VR headset that has be plugged in easily. We take the case for a spin into orbit to see if it has any tangible impact beyond that.

I like this case. Agree with you about the front fan problem. Disagree about the HDD activity led. An HDD activity light is much more useful that a power light. Even if a user buys parts that have no lighting, you still don't need a light to know whether the system is on or not. Though you have a point about the size. Still, it is plugable so if the light gets irritating you can just plug it in elsewhere or leave it unplugged. I like the 5.25' bay. Would have liked two better. Still, overall, I like it.

This case deserves no more than 5/10
Why? Because (as @Darksaber pointed out) the front is totally blocked.
And this is a trend, unfortunately. In the name of questionable asthetics we loose functionality. Similarly we have motherboards hysterically RGBed but with PCBs ever so slim.
I fear this will get worst since the cause is teenage Asian buyers who put visual bling above all else, and since most manufacturing is over there ..... :(

Not bad but I hate it when the I/O panel is attached to the front cover.:shadedshu:

$80 case and they cut corners by using punch through PCI slot covers? Rosewill just doesn't seem to know what their identity is as a brand.
