At its 2018 CES booth, ZOTAC showed off its smallest mini-PC to date, the Pico PI226. This mini PC is barely bigger than a portable hard drive, but packs a proper Intel x86_64 machine that can run Windows 10. It packs an Intel Celeron N4000-series processor with 4 GB of RAM, and 32 GB of eMMC storage, which can be expanded by up to 256 GB with a microSDXC card. Connectivity includes an HDMI 1.4 display output (via a USB type-C to HDMI dongle that's included); two USB 3.0 type-C ports, 802.11ac Wi-Fi (up to 896 Mbps), and Bluetooth 4.1.

Finally, the era of credit-card-sized PCs has arrived. Now all you need is a wireless KB/mouse and boom, you've got an entertainment centre setup for your lounge.

For HTPC I'd still go for NUC as some models have support for 2,5" hard drives.

I think the 1.1GHz N4000 Celeron would struggle with any media with a higher bit-rate. I'd bet anything HEVC would be unwatchable.

They could put a core m3 7y30 instead.

Damn I don't need it but really want something like this just to have around. Feels a bit cyberpunk.

Doesnt mention a power brick.

Will this run off a USB powerbank maybe? cause that would be a nice way to challenge the NUC's
