AMD Announces "Raise the Game" Bundle: 3 Games, All Unreleased

AMD announced the "Raise the Game" bundle. The company is giving away three AAA games with its Radeon RX Vega 64, RX Vega 56, RX 580, and RX 570 graphics cards (you get all three games when you purchase any of those graphics cards). Assassin's Creed Odyssey is the star attraction here. The latest addition to the Assassin's Creed franchise adds a straight $59.99 value to your graphics card purchase. You also get "Strange Brigade," a $39.99 upcoming co-op adventure shooter set in a Tomb Raider-esque setting. Lastly, there's Star Control: Origins, the upcoming space RTS by Stardock.

This is probably the first time that a GPU vendor is bundling only upcoming games, which at launch-prices add tremendous value to your graphics card, especially some of the cheaper RX 570 ones. Assassin's Creed Origins releases this October, while Strange Brigade lands late-August, and Star Control: Origins this September. The bundle is limited to participating retailers, and applicable to graphics cards sold between August 7, 2018 and ends November 3, 2018 (or until stocks last). You get a master coupon that must be redeemed on AMD website before 31st December, which puts out the UPlay and Steam keys for the games.

Good question, but there are no performance numbers available yet (except for the 1180/2080/whatever), only rumors. And until we get full reviews, there is no data to answer yes or no.

This is a good bundle for those who rule out buying next gen nvidia for whatever reasons.
And there will be no $250 ~ GTX 1080 card. That's gonna be a $100 more. 1070Ti costs $400 now and it's just slower, don't expect more than $50 drop on that.

Also, I thought the rumors were retailers still have a lot of 10xx cards to sell and are not really dropping prices to move them, meaning the 11xx series will need to come in at a higher price range or risk cannibalizing sales.

I’d think it just CD Keys I don’t think it cares about the card.

Yeah, you just activate the keys through AMD's website.. From there, you can choose how you want it delivered.

Ok cool, as I remember nVidia does enforce the rule with GeForce Experirence that a GTX 1080 or something similar is required to run or activate the games when they bundled a game last year.

Besides 1080Ti, in any other price range, due to freesync, AMD is ultra competitive vfm wise, even when having higher price gpu vs gpu. Only weak side is power comsumption, but that is the same for 5 gens now.

Yes you do. I have a 1080ti myself and ordered a rx 580 from newegg with the masterpass deal for 237 out the door with these games. I got the code to activate but amd website said no RX card detected in the system. So you do need a card in the system to activate and get the keys. But not to play, after you download all good so may be just get the keys from the backup rig and activate and download or redownlaod on the 1080ti rig. I don't game much so I might be offloading my 1080ti soon and throw the rx 580 in my personal rig for now.
