I have one of these, it runs great. The only thing that slightly annoys me is that NVMe initialization time, it adds to the boot time.

surprising to find that this drive stays very close to it's more expensive sibling; the 970 PRO 512GB.

What NVMe initialisation time? I haven't had any such issue.
