Inno3D Announces iChill Frostbite GeForce RTX 20-series

The brains in R&D have revisited the water cooling solution segment of iCHILL and developed this water block masterpiece. It is designed around NVIDIA's GeForce RTX series 2080 Ti, 2080 and 2070, providing nothing short of excellent cooling for these powerhouse of graphics cards.

INNO3D decided it was the right time to bring back water cooling and add this to the iCHILL arsenal, befitting to the power of the new
RTX series and its need for the best cooling technology. The iCHILL Frostbite is built with top quality components for supreme functionality whilst catering to the aesthetic demands with its magnificent RGB lighting. The iCHILL Frostbite is built with pure copper and is nickel plated which completely seals the heatsink protecting it. Increased cooling performance is enabled with thin thermal pads and close proximity with radiator and component. It also has ultra-thin cooling fins at 0.6 mm thick that stand 0.6 mm between each other resulting in maximum possible cooling performance.



Our Senior Product Manager Ken Wong, emphasises the uniqueness of this cooler with its exchangeable terminals which allows you to alter and design your own water cycle by either using the terminal with vertical or horizontal connections. years of R&D ... come on its an Alphacool GPU block with an ichill logo ... they didn't dev the block.

now remains to see if it's more expensive tp buy that one rather than simply picking their cheapest Air cooled gpu and buying a separate GPU block from alphacool

Especially when the PCB looks like it is just the reference / FE PCB, so that block is just the standard FE block and not even one that is made for a custom PCB.

We can say that they did not do much here. Tolerances are foreign to them. visible deviation is more than allowed 0.2mm on free surfaces, screws are terrible in front and behind, Uncompleted rear surface,
Are the cooling surface of the slits cover the DIE? (are the cuts long enough or is the DIE turned?) . The entry unit is miserable for looking and inexperienced. This element must be strong, not a cavity full of cavities, as it will leak. Well done a cooling circuit, but that would be all I can praise.
