Pretty much as expected - gets close to the 570, but can't match it, for more money. I guess we'll see how pricing evolves in the coming months, but this isn't a very impressive showing. Efficiency is excellent, so this will be great for pre-builts and SFF builds with very strict power limits, but other than that the 570 is a no-brainer. It's not like a 150W card is hard to deal with in a modern case.

Pretty weird to not include the 1050 (non-Ti) in the benchmarks though, as that is the card that this succeeds, at least in name. Sure, it's more expensive than launch pricing of the 1050 Ti and more powerful to boot, but isn't standard test procedure to test against nominal predecessors regardless of price?

Also, I'm rather skeptical of how much more they can squeeze out of a Ti given that there are only 64 more CUDA cores left on the die. Might the 1650Ti be an even more cut down TU116? Or will they give it GDDR6 to make it stand out from the 1650? A 7% increase in shaders won't make for a very impressive showing by itself.

With cards like the XFX RX 580 GTS XXX 8GB being 187$, i donno what the hell is going on with these price increases.
What a big shame. The GTX 1650 could have been a successful card if it were cheaper

Underperforming garbage that will sell much better than RX 570 because of the Nvidia logo.
On the other hand, amazing efficiency at <75W.

Jesus, Asus; Really?

Average power consumption 67 Watts and Asus still make so tall it violates both the PCIe and ATX specification.
It's dual-slot with zero breathing room so that it needs a third slot to function,
To top it all off, it's using cheap sleeve bearing fans despite the $30 premium.

The only viable market demographic that wants a 1650 are those who have PCs that can't handle any GPU over 75W. If they have power supplies without a 6-pin connector they also probably don't have room for an over-tall, double-wide graphics card, nor do they have a motherboard with Asus Aura RGB support, nor does their case have a window in it.

Asus just designed a card for a demographic that can't use it. GREAT JOB GUYS!
