Tight budget for a new pointer device? VicTsing's 2.4 GHz wireless mouse might just be what you are looking for - the MM057 hardly consumes any power, is durable, comes with a good material mix, and has a long working distance. It uses a PixArt PAW3212 optical sensor with five pre-defined resolution steps and switches rated for five million clicks.

Yeeaaaaah I bought a Tecknet mouse that looks exactly the same for £10 off amazon years ago to use along with my laptop. Wouldnt use it for gaming though.

I purchased their low profile rbg keyboard. The build quality VicTsing has is on par with name brands at 1/3 of the cost.

I have one of these at work (under the Teknet branding).

My impression pretty much matches the review. Feels good in the hand and has build quality belying its (in my case) <£8 price.

No idea if I could get on with it gaming wise as my work laptop has a power throttled 4720qm (thanks Lenovo) and a mighty Nvidia GT730...

The polling rate is 250 Hz by default. You can allegedly change the polling rate to 125 Hz somehow, but I didn't find any options to, and there's no information about it on the product page or inside the quick-start guide.
In order to change polling rate you need to press Right Mouse Button and Wheel simultaniously for 3 seconds.

This instruction is important as I tend to forget this.
