NVIDIA Friday released the GeForce Hotfix 430.97 driver. Hotfix drivers are released when NVIDIA needs to address a limited number of glaring issues with a recently released driver, in this case, the 430.86 WHQL and 430.64 WHQL. Released only for Windows 10, the drivers fix a game crash noticed in "Forza Horizon 4" when driving through tunnels. It also addresses a "Code 43" error noticed on machines powered by Intel "Sandy Bridge" processors when trying to install the WDDM 2.6-ready 430.64 WHQL drivers on Windows 10 May 2019 Update (1903). Grab the drivers from the link below.

NVIDIA GeForce 430.97 Hotfix

The change-log follows.

GeForce Hotfix display driver version 430.97 is based on our latest Game Ready Driver 430.86. This Hotfix driver addresses the following:
  • Forza Horizon 4: Game may crash when driving through tunnels
  • Code 43 error when installing driver 430.64 on Windows 10 May 2019 Update system with Intel Sandy Bridge CPU

Is there a hotfix for the 430.86 Studio driver? Or only for Game Ready 430.86?
The 430.86 Studio driver seems to have fixed the crashes I had with certain games. I'm still using Windows 10 18.09 and planning to apply 19.03 towards the end of June.

I'm using the studio driver as well and it doesn't look like it.

I wonder how much ppl uses Studio/Creator drivers. I found them very solid, so much that I just dont use normal versions anymore.

nVidia drivers, version intended for game developing studios, you can download it directly from nVidia. Just pick (SD) Studio Driver instead of (GRD) Game Ready Driver.

From my experience they very stable, dont give any advantage in terms of FPS, apart perceptually behaving a bit smoother. Could be placebo. They also optimized for 3D programs, such as Maya or Zbrush and so on. Current version is usually a bit behind GRD version. But they seem like they actually had some quality testing. :D

Yea and I suspect they might increase computing side of things. But also, could be placebo.

I switched to Creator Driver back in March, to test the new beta version of Davinci Resolve video production software. Nvidia renamed it to Studio driver now (sounds better but less explanatory). Since the switch, my PC (including all games and other software that relies on GPU power) are running rock-solid.

In regards to all the comments mentioning Studio Drivers VS Game Ready Drivers what you experiencing is a placebo effect is you have Studio Driver 430.86 as it is exactly identical to the GR 430.86 Driver.

Yes, games run the same. But with the Game Ready driver, professional software that relies on GPU doesn't work at all.

I think I will stop installing new nVidia drivers since I recently noticed a slow down performance in all games with my GTX 1080.
Are the doing this shit again???
