ASRock keeps the updates rolling in the Phantom Gaming family, with the Z390 Phantom Gaming X. The brand new flagship is the first motherboard to market to feature WiFi 6. It's got the looks, it's got the features, but does it have the performance?

There's a mistake in the specs: the board has 3x 3.2 Gen2 USB Type-A ports and 1 Type-C, not 1 and 1. Other than that, nice review, but the pictures could use some improvements. Just a suggestion from a fellow reviewer :)

Fixed, thanks good catch.

For the pictures, it's going to be a work in progress. I'm going from a light box that's not quite big enough to a more standard light set up. I would love feedback on specifically what you think I'm missing, I enjoy the photography but I am a relative ametour.

Well there's a bit too much glare and bloom in these pictures. Exposure seems a bit too high, and since it doesn't seem grainy at all, you should look at increasing the shutter speed, at least by a stop or two (meaning, if your shutter time is 1/100, you should go to 1/200 or more, for example).

Thanks (as always) for the review.

I'm not clear on this m.2 heatsink design. Do you have to remove the graphics card in order to change the m.2?
