Thermaltake Level 20 RGB Hard Mouse Pad

Thermaltake recently released a line-up of Level 20 RGB gaming peripherals, and one of these is a hard plastic mouse pad with RGB lighting along its edges and the TT logo, controlled in the iTAKE software. You can even synchronize the lighting with other Thermaltake products, the Razer Chroma, and Amazon Alexa.

After using Razer Destructor I'd never buy a hard pad ever again. After a year of moderate usage You can say 'goodbye' to it's smooth, slick surface and the drag becomes a serious issue.

Ive had the original destructor mouse mat for almost 15 if not over 15 years. and ive tried changing to other mouse mats - fancy cloth ones for laser mice and aluminum ones (but those lacked the same traction) but i always came back to the destructor.

The issue with hard pads is that as they wear out mouse feet - that material gets stuck on the actual surface of the pad. That or both the surface and mouse feat wear out together. I've used a few hard pads and I've yet to come across one that will last past 1 year without wearing out.

I can't imagine how Thermaltake is able to offer 2 year warranty here - maybe it is just for the RGB lights and not the surface wear. Either way $50 for this is BS.
